Yumeguri Rotenyu: Japanese Bath Salts Guide
The Yumeguri Rotenyu series is a collection of bath salt assortment packs based on different onsen regions in Japan. They are well-known in Japan and are incredibly popular abroad too. They are produced by Earth Chemical (in addition to their infamous Bath Roman range). ‘Yumeguri Rotenyu’ loosely translates to ’round trip’, meaning you can enjoy a tour of Japanese hot springs at home.

The Yumeguri Rotenyu bath salts have been developed to replicate the experience of 12 varied hot springs across Japan. The fragrance and water colors are designed to reflect each region. The onsen included are Tokachi, Ginzan, Yakushima, Tazawa, Shiobara, Minakami, Shinobu, Wayama, Nyuto, Goshikiyu, Sarukura and Sakurayama.
The bath salts are designed to enhance the effects of a hot bath; helping water maintain its temperature. The products are formulated with hot spring minerals that claim to increase blood flow and promote metabolism. They are incredibly relaxing too!
How to use Yumeguri Rotenyu Bath Salts
Fill your bathtub up with warm water. Choose your sachet and open it. The salts may have a strong fragrance when you first open them, don’t worry this will soften as they dissolve. Pour the entire sachet into your bath and mix it around until the powder dissolves. Immerse yourself in the tub and soak for at least 20 minutes. When you are finished simply towel dry, there is no need to rinse after soaking.
