Telework Information: This position is eligible for hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more on-site, per week.

The Technology Business Management Division (TBMD) at the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) is seeking a skilled and motivated Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I), Data Quality Specialist who is eager to learn, likes working with data, has experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and Python, and wants to make a real impact.

As a Data Quality Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data. Your responsibilities will include identifying and resolving data quality issues, as well as developing and implementing standards, policies, and procedures to maintain data integrity. Collaborating closely with teams within the Information Technology Services Branch (ITSB) and business units, you will help address data challenges and drive improvements. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong customer service skills, proficiency in SQL and Python, and a passion for enhancing your data expertise while learning from a collaborative team environment.

Statement of Qualifications
