Warehouse Order Puller
Pay Rate: $15/ hr.
Location: Houston, TX 77060
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Due to recent growth and expansion, our client is looking for an experienced warehouse person / order picker. The client is a dedicated marine logistics provider and freight forwarder located in the Houston, TX 77060 area.

Warehouse Order Picker Duties:

• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and transport materials within the warehouse
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer specifications
• Perform order fulfillment tasks, including verifying product quantities and quality control checks
• Utilize a warehouse management system to track inventory and manage orders
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed
• Use RF scanners to locate and retrieve products from designated locations

Warehouse Order Picker Requirements :

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center required.
• Proficient in operating heavy equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately pick and pack orders
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain an efficient workflow
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as required

Warehouse Order Picker Qualifications / Requirements

• At least 2 years’ experience as warehouse order picker for freight forwarding company
• Excellent Computer Skills
• Reliable worker with dependable transportation
