Job Description

A Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is sought for a K-12 school setting in New Haven, CT. This is a contract position for the duration of the school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Nurse Assistant (CNA)
• Experience working with children or in a school environment preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff and students
• Reliable and professional with a caring approach

Location:

• New Haven, Connecticut

Responsibilities:

• Provide basic nursing care to students, including assisting with health assessments and routine screenings
• Support school health staff in managing student health needs and emergencies
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Promote a safe and healthy school environment
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student wellbeing
