We are seeking a dynamic Sales Professional to join our team in Poestenkill, NY .

This individual contributor role focuses on uncovering and developing new customer prospects while establishing strong customer relationships built on mutual trust and respect to drive sales growth of DSI's specialized products. The successful candidate will manage the complete sales process from prospecting through closure, creating robust business pipelines and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This technical sales role requires regular travel for customer meetings, technical discussions, conferences, and user group events to expand business opportunities. The position demands exceeding annual sales targets and achieving key performance indicators while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
  • 2–3 years of proven sales experience
  • Successful track record in developing and executing sales strategies
  • CRM experience, preferably with Salesforce

Technical Skills & Knowledge

  • Basic understanding of metallurgical concepts
  • Ability to communicate technical value propositions effectively
  • Proficient in full-cycle sales management, market research, and lead generation
  • Experience organizing trade shows, demos, and webinars
