Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is someone who loves working with children, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings both clinical skill and a caring touch to each appointment.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Pediatric Dentist during dental procedures
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Take digital x-rays and impressions
Maintain a clean and organized clinical area
Help manage patient flow and ensure a smooth and efficient schedule
Support a positive, team oriented work environment
Qualifications:
Dental Assistant Certification (Prefered)
X-ray Certification (Prefered)
Previous experience in pediatric dentistry is highly preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a child-friendly approach
Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a busy practice
