Are you an experienced MRI Technologist looking to take the next step in your career? UPMC Presbyterian is hiring an Advanced MRI Technologist to join our dynamic and dedicated team!

In this role, you’ll work three 13-hour shifts per week (with a mix of daylight and evening hours), including weekend, holiday, and call coverage. What You’ll Do:

  Perform advanced MRI procedures and support QA, research, and regulatory initiatives alongside Clinical Specialists.

  \n

• \n

  Operate specialty imaging equipment with confidence and accuracy, ensuring high-quality results.

  \n
\n
• \n

  Train and mentor staff and students, fostering professional development.

  \n
\n
• \n

  Support off-shift, on-call, and satellite site coverage independently, while maintaining communication with leadership.

\n
• \n

  Maintain MR safety standards, ensure proper patient identification and contrast administration, and follow protocol for high-quality imaging.

• \n

  Collaborate with Radiologists to develop and refine imaging protocols.

  \n
\n
• \n

  Participate in system-wide standardization and innovation efforts.

• Completion of formal training in MRI-related program accredited by the ARRT or ARMRIT.
\n
• 2 years MRI experience required.
\n
• Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good on most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion.
  Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
\n
• ARRT MR or ARMRIT Certified.
\n
• CPR or BLS Required.
\n
• CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
\n
• ARRT Certificate OR American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT)
\n
• Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
