Our main office is in Fallbrook CA but are open to hiring a remote Estimator. Job Description Business Development and New Customer Outreach. Potential client meeting and relationship building. Source project leads avenues. Visit site locations to determine the scope of work. Prepare detailed take-off construction estimates. Candidate must possess a general understanding and have the ability to price all 16 divisions of work. Analyzing projects on a pre-bid basis for strengths and weaknesses. Obtaining pricing from the competitive bid market plus accurately qualifying bids received. Create labor and material take-offs for our in house division for internal work. Working with Project Coordinators to negotiate new work with established clients. Perform estimating with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, architects and company personnel. Determining creative ways to keep costs down, ensuring goals and objectives are met. Communicate regularly with Project Coordinators to ensure project success. Maintain database of Subcontractors and Material Vendors. Qualifications Proficient in Excel and data entry. Electronic take off of construction drawings. Create scope of work and hand scratches from job walks. Procore experience preferred. Excellent Communication and Negotiation Skills Commitment and Professionalism Detailed oriented and organized.
