Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet patients and perform pre-surgical preparations
• Assist the oral surgeon during surgery, providing suction, monitoring instruments, and swapping tools as necessary
• Provide post-operative instruction to patients regarding healing and care
• Operate x-ray equipment
• Disinfect, sterilize, and store equipment after use

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 1-2 years assisting experience required but will train the right candidate, preferably in an oral surgery environment
• CPR certification within 1 month of hire
• Strong communications skills and a calm demeanor in stressful situations
• Extremely organized and detail oriented
• Dexterity
• Listening skills
