About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to spearhead and implement the financial strategy of the business. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on finance executive, adept at managing and developing a lean finance and accounting team. Key responsibilities for the CFO include leading and executing all finance and accounting functions, from general ledger to payroll, and overseeing financial planning, reporting, controls, and compliance. The role also involves preparing and analyzing financial statements, developing forecasts, budgets, and cash flow models, and maintaining internal controls for accuracy and efficiency. The CFO will be expected to provide financial insight and decision support to the CEO and leadership team, as well as to lead audit and tax preparation activities. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive financial leadership experience, with a preference for those who have worked in a hands-on or small to mid-size company environment. Experience in private equity or high-growth companies is a plus. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels, and must possess strong financial modeling, systems, and analytical skills. A proven track record in building scalable processes and driving financial discipline is essential, as is the ability to manage banking relationships, covenant compliance, and investor/lender reporting. The CFO will also be responsible for building and mentoring a high-performing, nimble finance and accounting team.
